Hey There
Hi, I'm Erica Wilson, the founder of Family-Centered Care Solutions
Meet the Founder
For as long as I can remember, caring for others has been a natural part of who I am. Before I ever became a nurse, I was the type of person who stepped in without hesitation — offering comfort, support, or just a listening ear. Over time, that calling became my career, and eventually, my purpose.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and spent years working in a variety of clinical settings, including hospital care, transitional units, rehabilitation, and Interventional Radiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. I’ve also served as a House Supervisor, coordinated care across teams, and worked as a travel nurse supporting communities with diverse needs.
These experiences shaped me deeply. I’ve cared for patients at suffering from critical illness, those recovering from complex procedures, supported families during uncertain moments, and walked with seniors through some of their most vulnerable times. I’ve learned that excellent care is not just about skill — it’s about patience, connection, dignity, and treating people like they matter.
That belief is what inspired me to create Family Centered Care Sage Haven Care Home.
Throughout my career, I met countless older adults who deserved more than rushed interactions or institutional routines. They needed a place where they were truly seen — where someone knew their favorite foods, their stories, their fears, their strengths. I wanted to build a home where elders feel valued, calm, and supported in every part of their day.
Sage Haven reflects everything I’ve learned as a nurse and everything I believe as a person. It isn’t just a care home — it’s a haven. A peaceful, family-centered environment where seniors are honored for the wisdom they carry and cared for with compassion and respect.
As we prepare to open our first residential care home in New Castle County, my commitment is simple: to provide the same level of care I would want for my own loved ones.

That means safety, consistency, communication, warm meals, gentle routines, and genuine human connection — the things that make daily life feel comforting and meaningful.
I’m grateful for every family who considers trusting us with their loved one. It’s an honor I do not take lightly, and I look forward to offering a home where elders can live with dignity, comfort, and peace.
Warmly,
Erica Wilson, BSN, RN
